Ayush Gupta, the visionary Founder and CEO of DOCATHO, hails from Rajnandgaon, a city in Chhattisgarh, India. At just 27 years of age, Ayush has turned personal tragedy into purpose. Once an aspiring doctor, Ayush was preparing for the pre-medical entrance exam when he lost his father to a sudden cardiac arrest, just 8 days before his exam. The heartbreaking lack of timely medical intervention—due to the unavailability of doctors, emergency beds, and even basic medicines—led him to step away from his medical ambitions and take over his father’s business. But the pain and injustice of that incident never left him. Years later, when his mother was diagnosed with oral cancer caused by a neglected dental infection, Ayush once again confronted the limitations of the healthcare system. Fortunately, his mother received successful treatment at a top hospital, but the experience deepened his resolve. These life-altering experiences inspired Ayush to create DOCATHO—a platform born from pain, built on purpose, and driven by a vision to transform healthcare accessibility in India. His leadership reflects compassion, real-world insight, and a commitment to empowering patients—especially in underserved regions.
